Bessie The Cow

At first glance, Bessie the Cow’s grave marker seems to tell a simple story. She was just a cow, minding her own business. Then the wind picked up. Things got a little out of hand.

Place a light behind the glass and Bessie’s fate is revealed as the hidden shadow of a tornado appears, with one very unlucky cow getting carried away.

Handcrafted from stained glass, this piece is part of my Shadow & Light Collection, where every grave marker hides a secret that can only be seen when illuminated from behind.

Each piece comes mounted on a natural wood base and includes an LED candle, so it is ready to display and reveal its hidden shadow as soon as it arrives.
