Dichroic Crystal Ball

A tiny glimpse into the future, captured in glass.

This one-of-a-kind crystal ball necklace is handcrafted with a sparkling piece of dichroic glass for the globe and a beautiful purple-to-green color-shifting iridescent glass for the base. Three shimmering stars float across the globe, while hand-soldered details complete the crystal ball design.

The magic of this piece really happens when the light changes. The dichroic globe can shift dramatically in color and appearance depending on the lighting and angle, while the iridescent base moves between rich purple and green.

Each piece of glass was individually cut, ground, copper foiled and soldered together by hand. The stars were added individually, and the decorative solder details were created by hand as part of the finished design.

Finished using lead-free solder and paired with a stainless steel chain. A .925 sterling silver chain upgrade is available.
