Dichroic Mushroom

A tiny stained glass mushroom with a whole rainbow hiding inside.

This one-of-a-kind mushroom is handcrafted from two different pieces of dichroic glass, including a beautifully textured stem that completely transforms as the light moves across it. Depending on the angle and lighting, the colors shift through shades of purple, pink, gold, blue, green and more.

Each piece was individually cut, ground, copper foiled and soldered by hand, with tiny hand-soldered details tucked beneath the mushroom cap.

Made using lead-free solder and finished with a stainless steel chain, with the option to upgrade to sterling silver.

Because dichroic glass changes dramatically depending on its surroundings, both photos show this exact necklace in different lighting.
