Light Beneath The Water

This handmade jellyfish suncatcher was created to reflect the soft glow and drifting movement found beneath the surface of the sea. The jellyfish head measures approximately 3 1/2 inches by 5 inches, with an overall hanging length of about 22 inches including crystal accents.

The head is crafted from iridescent blue glass that shifts gently as the light moves. The tentacles are made from iridescent rainbow white glass, catching and reflecting light in a fluid, ever-changing way. Real crystal beads are woven throughout the design to add extra shimmer and movement.

The top of the jellyfish is reinforced with hobby came, providing added strength and stability where the piece hangs.

As sunlight passes through, this suncatcher fills the space with soft color, sparkle, and motion, creating the feeling of light drifting slowly through water.

Each piece is cut, foiled, soldered, and finished by hand. Variations in glass texture, color shift, and crystal placement make every jellyfish one of a kind.
