Once upon a book

Once Upon a Book is a one of a kind stained glass suncatcher created from a storybook design, given new life and a new place in the light. At the center hangs an open glass book, framed in soft green tones, as if a story has paused mid-page to let the sunlight through.

The book is set inside a 5 inch hoop wrapped with white and green glass beads that catch and scatter light in every direction. Beneath the piece hangs a faceted crystal prism adorned with a charm that reads “once upon a time,” anchoring the story below. To one side rests a small dragon, a guardian of tales, and on the other a sword, waiting for courage to be chosen.

This piece is meant to feel like a fairytale found rather than made, a quiet reminder that stories do not end just because a page is turned.
