The One Who Looks Up

This handmade seal suncatcher was created to reflect curiosity, playfulness, and the gentle joy found in moments of lighthearted connection. The seal itself measures approximately 6 inches wide by 4 inches tall, with an overall hanging length of about 15 1/2 inches from the top of the chain to the bottom crystal.

The seal is crafted using two different shades of iridescent pink glass that softly shift as the light moves through them, paired with a deep black glass back that adds contrast and definition. A small hand-painted eye gives the seal a lively expression, while a carefully soldered nose and delicate wire whiskers add dimensional detail and personality.

The hanging chain features a mix of pink and black faceted crystal accents, creating balance and visual rhythm throughout the piece. A small fish swims upward toward the seal, adding a sense of motion and interaction, while a pink crystal ball hangs at the bottom, scattering gentle rainbows as sunlight passes through.

Each piece is cut, foiled, soldered, painted, and finished entirely by hand. Natural variations in glass texture, color shift, and light play ensure that every suncatcher is truly one of a kind.
