Wings of Peace – Genesis 8:11

This stained glass dove necklace measures about 2 inches wide and 2 inches tall, a graceful size that shines beautifully in the light. Made with soft white streaked glass, it reflects the purity and promise of peace. A teardrop crystal hangs below to scatter light and rainbows, while a small pearl and green bead recall the olive branch carried by the dove in Scripture. I finished the solder with a black patina and then carefully polished it, giving the lines a look that is both beautifully shiny and aged, like something timeless and enduring.

Genesis 8:11 says, “And the dove came in to him in the evening, and lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf.” This piece is a reminder of God’s promise of peace and new beginnings.

Each one is hand cut and pieced together, then soldered with Silvergleem lead free solder. Silvergleem has real silver in it, which makes the lines brighter, stronger, and longer lasting than regular solder. After polishing, the surface is sealed to keep it shining.

Because it is made of stained glass, it should be handled gently and kept safe when not being worn. To clean it, just use a soft dry cloth. A microfiber cloth will be included with your purchase so you always have one on hand.
